One hot summer day, a young peasant was resting peacefully under a large tree. Crossing his arms, he sighed and looked int the countryside, saying:

“What a pleasure to the eyes of a peasant! I thank God for having given me the gift of this lovely countryside, which allows me to collect a good harvest,” said the peasant observing the large pumpkins, delicious melons, and beautifully colored watermelons. “ And I also thank him for this tree which gives me shade. Why is it that instead of walnuts, it does not produce pumpkins, melons and watermelons?”

No sooner had he finished thinking, a walnut fell on his head. Because of thies, he thought again:

“There is nothing one can do, God is very wise! If a huge pumpkin had fallen on my head from this tree instead of a walnut, I would no longer be alive.”

Silly but it’s true. Wasn’t it just a pure luck? Or God is really wise that he put everything in its place? Now, let’s start our day with a SMILE:]

Jealousy means that your great! God had made us unique so flourish it with joy and happiness!

Envying others doesn’t do good to us. It only shortens our lives copying others.

Why don’t we stay the way we are?BE HONEST!

Why don’t we stand and walk step by step to achieve our dreams? BE HARDWORKING!

Why don’t we start all over again?BE PATIENT!

We can do that, we’re better than them. LEARN TO AIM HIGHER THAN THE SKY!

We grow all of a sudden and ask lots of questions as we continue to live. Some people are better than us not just because of luck but because of their determination to pursue their goal and now, they’re making it into action. This story then came out from my mind...

A jealous ass hated a pig that lived on the farm. Everyday he watch the pig as it eats. “All day he eats until he cannot manage anything more! All day he rests! Hmmm... what bud luck I have? Everything is the opposite... less food and less rest!” said the ass to himself.

The ass complained, “I work and eat hay, but the pig eats corn, sleeps and does not work. And worse of all, they treat me badly and hit me with a stick. What injustice there is in my life!”

Several days passed, the ass noticed that the pig has disappeared in the farm. He soon found out that the owners had taken the pig to the slaughter house. He felt stupid being envious of the pig’s supposed luck, then he should have been happy with his own luck!

“If a life of good food and laziness ends in such a way, then I prefer to work hard and be hit with the sticks,” thought the ass.

Now, I learned to wake up and be back in the real world. Strive hard to achieve your own luck instead of envying other’s luck.
